IRENE'S Hungarian Chicken
Spice 6 chicken thighs cut in half with garlic & seasoning salt
-pound to 1/2" thick with mallet
-dip in flour on both sides
-saute in oil till golden, (both sides) remove from pan
-in same pan sautee 1 large diced onion, 1/2 green, & 1/2 red pepper diced, 1 fresh diced tomato, 2 chopped cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon paprika & 2 cups diced canned tomatoes..boil for a few minutes, return chicken to pan stir, add a lid & simmer for 20 Mins. or until chicken is tender, adding a bit of water if needed....should be a nice thick sauce.
You can use veal or pork tenderloin & recipe can be doubled, but only use 1 TBSP. of the paprika
